If I could witness any historical event that happened in the past, I would love to observe the American War of Independence. (Otherwise known as the Revolutionary War of America). This event occurred between April 1775 — September 1783. This was a war Americans fought for independence from the British. Maybe I would time travel 1 year before the drama was estimated to begin so that I won't miss anything.
The first thing I would want to do is to meet the all-mighty George Washington. Being the first President of the United States, I think it’ll be amazing to meet him. I probably should tell him to change the Declaration of Independence to include something like no taxes for everyone.
Secondly, I would introduce grenades, and rocket launchers to the United States Army. This way the war will be shorter and the British Army will not know what hit them before they will explode into a million pieces. The United States would probably claim independence earlier and be a stronger country than now.
Thirdly, I would want to write the Declaration of Independence, so I could change its contents such as making tax rates lower, building temples for each Greek/Roman god, and every household must bare arms for self-defense. Furthermore, we should have daily fireworks at 2 am just for fun (so that no one can sleep), or target practice with real guns in police/military schools at 4 am just for the effect.
