Sir David Attenborough, was born on 8 May 1926 in Isleworth, Middlesex, England. When he was younger, he studied at the University of Cambridge and learned about geology, zoology, and natural sciences. He is currently 93-years old. Most people recognize him from his multiple occupations: natural historian, zoologist, broadcaster, writer, etc.
Sir David Attenborough has accomplished many things over eight decades. His most popular TV series is the Life On Earth from the1979 which teaches us about plants and animals. He also has a 3D movie called The Flying Monsters about dinosaurs that was released in 2010. However, most people nowadays would know him from the BBC wildlife documentaries The Blue Planet and Planet Earth.
Last night, I watched his latest movie, A life On Our Planet. I only made through 40 minutes of the documentary because it was so emotional and intense!
In summary, Sir David Attenborough’s film warns us to stop destroying nature by killing animals and plants. He also tells us that the planet is in a extremely bad state and it is important that we repair it. He shares with us the memories he had when he was in his teens. He said that you can fly on a plane in Africa and see amazing wildlife for hours and hours. Sadly, he says nowadays, you barely even see one.
