I have been playing Go Chess for two to three years. I often play four days per week with people around the world on the internet. My level stands at 7k. The level system works as everyone starts at 30k and this number continues to declines until 9d as you become better.
Go also known as weiqi, was invented 3,000–4,000 years ago by Emperor Yao of China to entertain his son. Some people believe warlords and officers invented this game. There are 46 million Go Chess players internationally, and there are 20 million people actively competing including me.
Go Chess is a game where two players go against each other in a game of strategy. Black always goes first and White goes next. The objective of the game is to surround as much of the chess board’s territory as possible. To end the game each player has to say pass. The winner is the person with the most territory on the chessboard.
Go is a game that I really enjoy and I share it with people who have never heard about it before.
