It is critically important that we pay attention to human activity on the Earth. Personally, I believe that humans have greatly harmed the Earth in the last century. I feel this way for two reasons which I will explore in further detail in my essay.

To begin with, humans have directly caused the extinction and endangerment of flora and fauna. We have ruined habitats of the animals and overhunted some species which made their lives very difficult. For instance, African Elephants are considered one of the most endangered species in the world. Humans have poached them for their tusks throughout history to make ivory. If it weren’t for humans, life would have been beautiful for them.

Furthermore, humans have created vast amounts of greenhouse gases which lead to global warming and climate change. We have also made lots of pollution and caused resource depletion. For example, Bangladesh is the most polluted country in the world. It was polluted in many ways: water, land, and air pollution. Humans caused it by building a lot of factories beside homes and having too many automobiles in the streets. People waste lots of plastic bags and throw them in the water or land.

In conclusion, I strongly feel that humans have greatly harmed the earth and caused a lot of damage. This is because of humans endangering the population of animals and polluting the environment.
