If I could start any club at school, I would like to start a Fundraising Club. The purpose of this club is to sell items and donate the money to charities. These items can be people’s old toys, books, clothes (redesigned), and more. We would collect these products and sell them in school funfairs.
At the end of the day, I would distribute the money to different charities that support causes like animal conservation, poverty, education, and more. I would open this club as an elective for students to choose from. I think that we also need to invite a teacher of sales to help us out.
I chose to start a Fundraising Club because I want to be an entrepreneur of technology and I am also passionate about zoology. I think it can be a good experience for me to learn about how to lead a club, which also feels like leading a company.
