People Are Spending Too Much Time On Personal Enjoyment Than Doing Things They Should Do
I agree with the statement that people nowadays are spending too much time on self enjoyment than what they should do. This is because of two reasons that I will explore in further detail in my essay.
To begin with, people are spending too much time playing video games and don’t do their work properly. There are more and more fun and addicting games for people nowadays. Games are designed to keep you playing for hours and hours. Also, there are more fun and affordable game consoles to play with too! For instance, my friend that lives a block beside me is very addicted to games and spend hours and hours playing the game and cannot stop at all! Instead he should be doing his homework and studying for school.
Furthermore, I strongly believe that social media is the main cause of people not doing their work that they should do. As there are more and more social media sites attracting people to post cool pictures and videos. People stop doing their work and studies. They start scrolling endlessly on the site and watch random videos. All this time, people could have done so much more things that can be useful in the future. For example, once when I was at web class, I just watched random videos on youtube for hours and hours. As a result, I failed my tests for school.
In conclusion, I strongly believe that people nowadays spend too much time on personal enjoyment than useful activities. This is because of addiction to video games and endless scrolling on social media.
