We all need help from others from time to time. Tell about a time you helped someone in need.

On a peaceful Monday morning at school, I noticed my classmate John had his hands on his face and looked very frustrated. I went towards him and asked: “Hey, are you feeling okay?”.

“I didn’t finish the Chinese transcribing homework!”, he replied anxiously as he took out the book.

I quickly looked at the timetable and saw that Chinese is the last class of the day! I shouted with excitement, “John! You can do the transcribing homework during recess and lunch!”

John’s eyes lit up and he looked relieved. “REALLY?!”, he yelled as he immediately took out a pen and started jotting down the paragraphs into his book.

After finishing his homework during recess, he came over and thanked me for saving him from getting punished by the teacher. I have always been a helpful person because I think that it brings me and the other person happiness. I believe that helping others plays an important part in life.
