Cryptozoology is the study of creatures that humans believe exist but did have not found real evidence yet. “Crypto” means secret while “zoology” means the study of animals. Scientists call these creatures Cryptids. Today I am going to give you some examples of Cryptids from the US.

The Pukwudgie of Massachusetts

might be creepy

The Pukwudgie originated from the Native Americans who lived in Massachusetts. To begin with, Pukwudgies have been rumored to resemble a half porcupine and half-troll creature. Additionally, They are about two to three feet tall with large noses and ears. They can use magic, shoot poison arrows, and push humans off the cliff then control the souls of their victims. Finally, they can also create fire at the snap of their fingers! The Native Americans told legends of the Pukwudgie stealing children burning houses down.

Billiwhack Monster of California

not that creepy

To start with, the Billiwhack Monster originated from California, and it was believed to be a prototype of a super soldier that the government planned to make. However, it escaped. During 1950–1964, they had sightings of the Billiwhack. But after 1964, nobody seemed to discuss it anymore. The creature was tall and resembled an ape with horns like a goat which this pic doesn't have…so my bad. The monster had a muscular body and furry gray hair. He frequently haunts people around the BIlliwhack dairy, which is how it got its name. People reported that the monster was throwing huge rocks at bystanders and denting peoples’ cars.

Living Wooly Mammoths of Alaska

They look like hooks to me

Woolly Mammoths were technically extinct 10 thousand years ago but some people have claimed to have seen them walking on snow recently. First and foremost, they have thick brown fur and iconic hook-shaped tusks. They grow up to 11-foot-tall and weigh six tons. The last two sightings of the wooly mammoth included a photo taken in WWII by a Nazi photographer and a person named Fowler who purchased ancient mammoth ivory from the locals.

In conclusion, I believe that cryptozoology is not true at all. I think the Myths and legends come from people who just wanted to show off or were just bored. If I were to come up with a Cryptid, I would come up with a cute one like:
