Metaverse can provide us with immersive learning, which is really helpful for Astronomy, History, Geography, and more. For instance, when you want to learn about Roman times, the Metaverse can teleport you to your destination. Furthermore, it can allow distance learning. If people all over the world want to join a specific class, you can just create a server and invite international students. Although it is true that people might not be able to afford the VR headsets, maybe schools or the government should provide a free headset for students.
Entertainment in the Metaverse
In addition, the Metaverse can have immersive entertainments such as live concerts. Furthermore, you can also play conventional games like ping pong, chess, and more with international players around the globe! Players that are using VR glasses and the game is being projected through the holograms. However, a downside is that we might be addicted to the game and not go outdoors.
Workspaces in the Metaverse
In the Metaverse, you can literally work from anywhere. For instance, parents will heavily benefit from this new work environment because they need to take care of their kids. This will also be an advantage for people who are traveling a lot because they do not need to rush to the office for a meeting. However, people might just not take work that seriously anymore, because the bosses could not monitor their employees well.
